What we use
We use very little.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is the only analytics tool on the site. It is cookieless. It does not set tracking cookies, it does not fingerprint visitors, and it does not share data with any advertising network.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not use marketing cookies. We do not use social-media share-tracking cookies.
The one cookie that may appear
One functional cookie may be set by Cloudflare for security purposes:
-
cf_clearance— set by Cloudflare's bot management when a visitor completes a security challenge. It is used to confirm that a returning visitor has already passed the challenge and to keep the site reachable for legitimate traffic. It is not used for marketing or analytics.
If the security challenge is not triggered, this cookie is not set.
Why we keep it simple
Cookieless analytics gives us enough to run the site — page counts, referrers, broad device categories — without tracking you across the web. We have no business reason to do more than that on the marketing site.
How to control cookies
You can clear cookies and block cookies in your browser settings. Doing either of those things
will not prevent you from using the site. If the security challenge is set again on your next
visit, completing it once will set the cf_clearance cookie again.
